Timo Saari enjoy working in Hydoring

Hydoring Oy is well-known for its long careers and investments to the comfort and training of its employees. CNC Machinist Timo Saari has worked for the company throughout its history.

In fact, Timo Saari's career started more than 40 years ago with Hydoring Oy's predecessor Konepaja M.Virtanen, where
Saari came directly from the vocational school bench and since 1987 the man has worked at Hydoring Oy.
- Cozy and versatile work and good workmates, says Saari of the secret of a long career. Hydoring has grown over the past three decades in terms of staff numbers. - When we started, there were 20-30 people, and today we have over 110 persons. In addition, Hydoring has been continually invested and automation is also visible. At the beginning we had two automatic lathes and now there are more than twenty, says Saari.
His main job is to handle the Nakamura lathe with manipulator.
- Although the work has been automated a lot of the early days, the employee is still in the center and in the big role. Quality is
the most important thing for us and a good staff ensures that quality is good. Employee training and youth recruitment are also important at Hydoring.
- New machines and methods are introduced at regular intervals. Hydoring invests heavily in employee training,
to keep our skills at its peak all the time. We employ young people in the area, both summer jobs and longer working relationships, he pointed out also.
