The company’s origins in hydraulic cylinder and power unit manufacturing go back more than 30 years.
Hydoring Oy was created from the merger of two companies, Konepaja M.Virtanen and TR-Hydro Ky. The main owner was originally Oy Datacity Patron Ab (Rautaruukki Group).
In 1993, the company acquired shares in Hypro-Lahti Oy; and also acquired the right to market Bosch hydraulic components; and in 1994, acquired the cylinder production division of Lännen Engineering Oy.
Hypro-Lahti Oy and Hydoring Oy merged with Kyrön Konepaja Oy in 1994 and operations continued under the company name Hydoring Oy.
The manufacturing operations of Hydoring Oy were concentrated at the Kyrö factory in 1996, and in the same year Timo Raikko and AVS Oy acquired the ownership of the company.
In 2000, Hydoring Oy adopted the Sonet enterprise resource planning system, and in 2001 started its partnership with Bosch Rexroth as its system integrator.
In 2007, when Hydoring Oy celebrated its 20 years in business, Timo Raikko acquired full ownership of the company.
